Just ahead of its June 4th launch in India, Motorola has now shared the complete specifications and features of its upcoming Edge 70 Pro+ smartphone. The details have been revealed via the Flipkart microsite, confirming its design, display, camera, performance, battery, software, and other key features.

As per the details shared, the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ smartphone will be introduced with the brand’s Collections design language, and the device will be made available in three colour choices. These include PANTONE Zinfandel with a satin luxe finish, PANTONE Stormy Sea with a twill-inspired finish, and PANTONE Chicory Coffee with a sculpted wood finish. The brand is also highlighting the device with the tagline “designed to stun inside out.”
Speaking more about its camera specs, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will feature a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 sensor, and it is claimed to be the brand’s most advanced sensor. The device will also be equipped with a 50MP 3.5x periscope lens, and it will support up to 50x AI Super Zoom and 50x AI-powered Super Zoom Pro. The camera system will also offer 3.5° optical image stabilisation, AI-enhanced low-light imaging, a multispectral 3-in-1 sensor, no flicker even at night, clean shots under harsh lights, true colours during both day and night, and perfect exposure and clarity even in low light. It will also support 4K 60 FPS recording from all lenses, along with AI-powered Photo Studio, AI-powered colour, AI-powered portrait + AI group shot, and AI-powered clarity features.
Regarding its performance, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, which is said to have an AnTuTu score of over 2.4 million. It will be coupled with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and the chipset is also mentioned to be based on an efficient 4nm process. The device will also be equipped with a vapour cooling chamber with a 4600mm² cooling area.
Coming to its display, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will sport a 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED display with Super HD or 1.5K resolution. The display will support up to a 144Hz refresh rate, and it is also claimed to be the category’s brightest Pantone-validated display. The screen will also offer a peak brightness of 5200 nits.
In terms of durability, the smartphone will feature Gorilla Glass 7i protection, MIL-810H military-grade durability, and IP68 and IP69-rated protection. For its battery, the device will be backed by a 6500mAh battery, and it is claimed to deliver more than two days of battery life. A 90W TurboPower charger will be offered in the box, and the smartphone will also support 15W wireless charging.
About the audio features, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ will support multidimensional sound, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio. On the software side, it will come with Android 16 out of the box, and the brand will offer 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches.
Speaking more about its AI features, the device will come with Moto AI and offer smart assistance features such as Next Move, Catch Me Up, Remember This, and Pay Attention. The device will also feature integrated AI apps, including Copilot, Gemini, and Perplexity.
The smartphone will also support the Moto Pen Ultra, which has a 1.4mm fine high-precision pen tip, 4096 pressure points, tilt detection, and palm rejection. Lastly, looking at the specs, these are similar to the Motorola Edge 70 Pro that was released in the global markets. However, the Indian variant misses out on wireless charging and the telephoto lens.
