Motorola Edge 70 Max India Launch Confirmed; Several Specifications Listed on Flipkart Microsite
While the previous teaser had already hinted at the arrival of a new Motorola Edge-series smartphone, the brand has now officially confirmed that the upcoming device launching in the Indian market will be the Motorola Edge 70 Max. Motorola Edge 70 Max – India Launch Date and Key Specifications Confirmed
As per what the brand has officially shared, the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Max smartphone will be launched in the Indian market on 15th July 2026 at 12PM IST via Flipkart and the Motorola India website. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, and it is claimed to offer a 46% improvement in NPU performance for AI-related tasks. Moreover, the smartphone is teased to achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score of more than 3 million points.
On the performance side, the brand has confirmed specs like up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and on-device AI processing. The device will also be equipped with the ArcticMesh cooling system and a 5500mm² vapour cooling chamber, which is claimed to distribute heat more effectively in order to keep the CPU cooler during demanding tasks and extended gaming sessions.
About the Motorola Edge 70 Max display specs and other details that have been shared, this device is claimed to feature the brightest and fastest Quad HD+ LTPO display. It will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 7000 nits of peak brightness, DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 10-bit colour support. Furthermore, the display will be protected using Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and it is also pointed out to offer a 95.12% screen-to-body ratio.
A smoother gaming experience can also be expected on the device, and the smartphone is confirmed to support BGMI gaming at up to 120 FPS. The brand has also teased the device with the tagline ‘Snap with max magnetic power’, pointing towards the magnetic charging capabilities that will be offered on the upcoming smartphone.
Regarding its battery, the Motorola Edge 70 Max will be backed by a massive 7100mAh battery, and it is claimed to deliver up to 58 hours of battery life. The device will also support 90W TurboPower wired charging, along with the category’s only 25W fast magnetic wireless charging support.
