Meizu 20, 20 Pro 3C certified, likely to launch in March

Meizu is working on the Meizu 20 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. The lineup is expected to include at least two models, such as the Meizu 20 and Meizu 20 Pro. It appears that the Meizu 20 lineup may launch in March in China, as both models have been approved by the country’s 3C authority.

The 3C certification platform has approved two new Meizu phones with model numbers M391Q and M381Q, as seen in the screenshot below. These devices seem to be the Meizu 20 and 20 Pro, respectively.

The 3C listings show that both Meizu models may ship with an 80W charger that has model number UP2040. To recall, the UP2040 charger was approved by the 3C authority back in December 2022.

Hence, it appears that the Meizu 20 and 20 Pro will support 80W fast charging. While there is no confirmation yet, the Pro model may also offer 50W wireless charging.

Previous reports have claimed that the Meizu 20 and 20 Pro will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, LPDDR5X RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. The Pro model is likely to come in two options, such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. Both models will have a 120Hz OLED display and run on Android 13 OS.
