Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2’s Amazon Microsite Confirms Its India Launch, Specs and Features Revealed

Lenovo had launched its latest Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet in the global market just a few days back, on the 16th of June to be exact. Now, its India launch has also been confirmed, as the device’s microsite has been listed on Amazon India, revealing its key specs and features. By the looks of it, the Indian variant appears to be similar to the one that was launched globally.

Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 – Specs Officially Teased on Amazon India

The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is now listed on Amazon India, and via its microsite, the brand has revealed the key specs and features of the upcoming tablet. Speaking more about it, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 octa-core processor and comes equipped with AI features such as Google Gemini, Circle to Search, and Lenovo AI Live Transcript.

On the audio side, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 features 9 JBL speakers with 7.2 channel cinematic audio, Dolby Atmos support, and Sound by JBL tuning. The speaker setup includes 4 tweeters, 3 woofers, and 2 passive radiators. It is also certified with Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless. Furthermore, audio modes such as Dynamic Mode, Movie Mode, and Music Mode are also offered on the device.

Notably, the tablet can also be used as a Bluetooth speaker and can be controlled from a mobile device. In Movie Mode, a Dialogue Enhancer feature is present for clearer vocals, while the Music Mode offers a custom equalizer for adjustable frequency control.

It sports a 12.1″ 2.5K LCD display with a screen resolution of 2560 × 1600 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut, and 249 ppi pixel density. The display also supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision. Eye protection features such as Eyesafe Display, Low Blue Light, Colour Accurate display, and TÜV Rheinland certification are also part of it.

Coming to its storage and connectivity specs, the device is offered with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. It also supports expandable storage of up to 2TB via microSD card with exFAT support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6.

The tablet is backed by a 10200mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging. As per what has been revealed, it is able to offer up to 15 hours of video streaming and up to 52 hours of YouTube Music playback. Additionally, Lenovo is offering Android 17 and Android 18 upgrades, along with four years of security updates, or security patch updates until 2030.

Speaking more about the AI features, Lenovo AI Live Transcript offers real-time captions and translation, allowing users to instantly understand what they watch, break language barriers in real time, and stay immersed without interruptions.

Lenovo SmartConnect features along with Share Hub for effortless file sharing, Cross Control for seamless navigation across devices, App Streaming to stream Android apps to a Windows PC, and Smart Clipboard for instant copy-paste across devices are given.

The device also supports multiple stand and usage modes, including Stand Mode, Lean Mode, Hanging Mode, and Theater Mode. Design-wise, it has a minimalist design with soft edges and a lighter tone. Accessories such as a shoulder strap, custom-fit sleeve, and stylus loop inside the cover are also supported.

Regarding its pricing and availability in the Indian market, Lenovo is yet to make an official announcement. However, since the Amazon India microsite is now live, the launch is expected to take place soon.
