Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 With Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, 13″ 3.5K Display Launching in India on May 1; Amazon Availability Confirmed
Following the global debut of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2, the brand is now preparing to introduce the device in the Indian market. Its dedicated microsite has now gone live on Amazon India, revealing its launch date as well as a few of its key specifications for the region.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 – India Launch Confirmed with key Specs
Via the Amazon India microsite, the launch date for this tablet in India is set for May 1st, 2026. Along with confirming the Launch, the microsite also confirms key specs of this tablet, though it has already been launched in the global markets last month.
As per what has been revealed on the microsite, the tablet will feature a 13″ 3.5K PureSight Pro display with a 3.5K (3504 x 2190 pixels) resolution, 144Hz dynamic refresh rate, up to 800 nits peak brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM), 99% DCI-P3 colour gamut and Dolby Vision. There will also be a Matte Edition (Separate variant), which will offer a paper-like anti-glare display that helps reduce glare. Additionally, the display is certified for Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Full Care display standards
Speaking more, the device measures 296.48mm x 191.91mm x 6.20mm in size and weighs about 598g, offering a slim and lightweight form factor. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 octa-core processor, paired with an advanced NPU for AI-related tasks. Adding more to this, the microsite confirms that the tablet will be offered in 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB memory variants and can be expanded via microSD card up to 2 TB.
Just like its global counterpart, the device will ship with Android 16 out of the box, and it is confirmed to receive OS upgrades up to Android 18, along with 4 years of security patch updates.
The tablet features an 8MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear camera with autofocus support. It is also equipped with a quad-speaker system tuned by Dolby Atmos, offering an enhanced audio experience.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, along with a wide range of wireless standards. It also packs multiple sensors, including an accelerometer, RGB sensor, gyroscope, and Hall sensor.
Also to note, the tablet features a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port (charging, audio, and DP-out), a MicroSD card slot, and a pogo-pin connector for keyboard accessories.
In terms of battery, the device houses a 10,200mAh battery and supports 45W fast charging, offering up to 12.5 hours of YouTube video streaming.
Additionally, the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 will be available in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey, and Jelly Mint colour options. It will also support accessories such as the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus (included in the box), Lenovo Folio Case, and a keyboard pack that connects via pogo pins.
