Lava Yuva 5G launch date announced with a fresh new teaser revealing the front and the back design

Lava is introducing a new offering for the Indian audience with the Lava Yuva 5G. Recently spotted on Amazon and shared via a poster on platform X, the exact launch date was initially not revealed. However, Lava has now announced that the Lava Yuva 5G will launch on May 30th, 2024, at 12 PM. The latest teaser reveals both the front and back design of this upcoming smartphone.

To make it simpler for you, I have taken multiple screengrabs to help you understand the design of this upcoming smartphone. Looking at the back panel, it has a circular camera island with four circular cutouts. The top cutouts hold the camera sensor, while the bottom ones feature an AI marking and an LED flash. In the middle of the circular camera island, there is a 50MP marking, suggesting that it may come equipped with a 50MP main AI camera.

Furthermore, it is revealed to have a premium glass back panel with a Matte finish and will come in two colors: blue and green. The right side features the volume rocker and a power button, which may also function as a fingerprint sensor, in my opinion.

The side edges appear to have a metallic finish with curved edges. Additionally, a USB Type-C charger is located at the bottom, along with the speaker grill.

If you look at the screen grab below, the front of the smartphone is also revealed. It shows a punch-hole layout with thick side bezels and a thin top chin. However, I have my doubts because sometimes the renders shown by companies can be inaccurate. Let’s see how LAVA will handle the bezels on this smartphone.

Prior to this teaser, a recent Geekbench listing of a LAVA phone is expected to be for this model. According to that listing, we can expect a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with at least 8GB of RAM. Additionally, it is expected to feature a 16MP selfie shooter and a 5000 mAh battery.

All other details are still under wraps, but now that we have the launch date, more specs are expected to be revealed soon.
