As announced earlier, Lava has today officially introduced two new smartphones under its Virat series: Virat V1 and Virat V1 5G.

Lava Virat V1
Features
The Virat V1 smartphone has passed 400+ rigorous tests and boasts an IP64 dust and water resistance. It features a 6.75-inch HD+ display and offers up to 8GB RAM (4GB+4GB) and 64GB internal storage. The device packs a 13MP AI dual rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by an Unisoc octa-core processor that offers a 2.6 GHz primary clock speed.
It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and runs on Android 15 Go Edition with no ads and no bloatware. Users can unlock the device with a side fingerprint sensor or face unlock. There are two colour options: Himalayan Silver and Nilgiri Blue.
Pricing
It is priced at Rs 9,999 but will be available at a special launch price of Rs 8,999 on sale day. The official sale starts on 31st July via Flipkart and Lava’s official website.
Lava Virat V1 5G
Features
This device has also passed 400+ rigorous tests and comes with IP64 dust and water resistance. It is powered by a Unisoc T8200 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM (4GB+4GB) and 64GB ROM. It runs on Android 16 OS with no ads and no bloatware. The smartphone features a 6.75-inch HD+ display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It is backed by a 6000 mAh battery.
The Virat V1 5G packs a 13MP AI dual rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. There are two colour options available: Arya Blue and Sonar Gold.
Pricing
It is priced at Rs 12,999 but will be available at a special launch price of Rs 11,999 on the sale day. The official sale starts on 31st July via Flipkart and Lava’s official website.
Lava is also extending the Free Service @Home program to buyers of both devices.
