Just a few days back, it was revealed that Lava will be introducing a new Virat smartphone series in the Indian market, and the microsite for a Lava Virat device was also made live on Flipkart.
The company has now officially revealed the moniker and launch date of the smartphones that will be launching under this lineup.

Lava Virat V1 and Virat V1 5G will launch in the Indian market on 21st July at 12 PM. The Lava Virat V1 model is teased to arrive in Blue and White colour options. There is a square camera module that houses a 13MP AI camera and an LED flash. The device is suggested to arrive with water and dust resistance. At the bottom, it includes a speaker grille and a USB Type-C port.

Coming to the Lava Virat V1 5G, the device is teased to arrive in Blue and Beige colours with a patterned design on the rear panel. The camera module houses camera sensors and an LED flash. At the bottom, there is a speaker grille, Type-C port and a headphone jack.
Reportedly, Lava’s Virat series will target the sub-Rs 10,000 budget segment up to the Rs 25,000 mid-range segment. The series will focus on battery life, imaging and processing. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
