Lava Bold 2 5G confirmed to launch in India on 13th March; Design teased via Amazon microsite

The Indian manufacturer Lava introduced its Lava Bold N2 4G smartphone last month in India, and now, this month, the company will be launching a new device in the country- Lava Bold 2 5G.

Lava Bold 2 5G: India launch confirmed

The Lava Bold 2 5G smartphone will be launching in India on 13th March at 12 PM. Just like previous Lava devices, this upcoming smartphone will also be made available via Amazon, and its microsite has also been made live on the e-commerce platform.

The microsite partially teases the design of this device. The rear panel features a rectangular camera module that houses dual camera sensors. The device is seen in a Black colour option. The volume and power buttons are present on the right side of the smartphone. The Lava Bold 2 5G is teased to be brighter, slimmer and bolder.

It features a 6.75″ HD+ water drop style notch display that offers a 90 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the Unisoc SC9863A chipset and runs on Android 15 Go OS, paired with 4GB of RAM with an additional 4GB of virtual RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Also, Lava states that the handset will feature no bloatware or ads to give a clean Android experience.

The rear gets a 13MP AI main camera with an unspecified secondary lens, while the front has a 5MP selfie shooter. Further, it packs a 5,000mAh battery and comes with IP64-rated protection against dust and splash. You will also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well with this smartphone.
