Lava Agni 4 5G launching in India on November 20th with a MediaTek chipset, officially confirmed

Lava has finally announced the launch date of its next Agni series smartphone in India. The Lava Agni 4 5G is now confirmed to debut on 20 November 2025. Along with the announcement, today’s teaser also hints at the chipset powering the device.

From the teaser, it looks like the device will come with a MediaTek chipset, most likely the Dimensity 8350 SoC. The phone will be offered in a black colour option, and according to a tipster on X, a white colour variant is also expected.

The design reveals a boxy form factor with rounded corners, a flat metal middle frame, and a pill-shaped camera module placed horizontally at the back. The rear houses two camera sensors positioned at opposite ends, along with a dual tone LED flash, two additional LED lighting units, and ‘AGNI’ branding. Antenna lines are seen along the sides, while the power button and volume rockers are placed on the right side. The top appears to include an IR blaster and an additional microphone.

A 7,000mAh battery was recently spotted on Nemko certification under model number LBP1071A, which is likely linked to the Agni 4 5G. Other expected specifications include the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, UFS 4.0 internal storage, a 6.7 inch FHD+ 120Hz display, dual 50MP rear cameras, and an overall battery capacity above 7,000mAh. In India, the device is expected to be priced below INR 25,000.
