iQOO 15R Design Revealed in Official Teaser, Amazon India Availability Confirmed

iQOO 15R Design Revealed in Official Teaser, Amazon India Availability Confirmed

In a new teaser shared by iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya on X, the design of the upcoming smartphone, iQOO 15R, has been revealed. While the official launch date has not yet been announced, the teaser confirms that the device will be available via Amazon India. Interestingly, the design closely resembles that of the iQOO Z11 Turbo launched in the Chinese market.

The teaser shows that the iQOO 15R has a patterned back panel with a mix of square and diamond (tilted square) shapes in different shades of grey. This gives it a stylish, slightly textured look instead of a plain finish. The pattern reflects light softly, adding a premium feel. The back also looks matte, which should offer better grip and reduce fingerprints and smudges.

Talking about the listings, the device has so far been spotted on multiple certification platforms, including Bluetooth SIG, Indonesian SDPPI, Malaysian SIRIM, EEC, and India’s BIS. While the SDPPI, SIRIM, EEC, and BIS certifications hint towards launches in their respective markets, it was the Bluetooth SIG listing that first revealed the moniker. And yes — we were the first to spot it.

Maybe iQOO is attempting a strategy similar to OnePlus (*assuming), where the OnePlus 15 launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, while the OnePlus 15R came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5.

Now that the India launch has effectively been confirmed, more official details are expected to surface soon.
