Infinix has now officially introduced its HOT 70 Pro 5G+ smartphone for the global markets. The device arrives with the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, a 144Hz display, a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera, and up to a 6,000mAh battery. However, its pricing and market-wise availability details are yet to be announced by the brand.

Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ (X6896) – Specifications and Features
The newly introduced Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ features the brand’s Dynamic Shine Design and has an Active Matrix Cube on the rear panel, which uses lighting effects to respond to different activities and notifications.
Night Pulse, Dive Blue, Depth Ring White, Mirage Green, Silk Glow Purple, and Thermo Orange finishes are its colour variants.
The handset weighs 204gm and is 7.85mm/7.95mm thick depending on the colour variant.
Speaking of its display, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ features a 6.76″ LTPS LCD panel supporting an FHD+ resolution of 2344 × 1080 pixels, adaptive refresh-rate options of 45Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz, and 144Hz, along with up to a 240Hz touch-sampling rate and a 1,500Hz instant touch-sampling rate.
The panel offers a typical brightness of 760 nits, up to 950 nits in High Brightness Mode, an 85% NTSC colour gamut, and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.86%. Always-On Display and Widevine L1 support have also been given.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7100 5G chipset, paired with upto 8GB RAM (4GB/6GB/8GB) along with upto 8GB of expandable virtual RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. A dedicated microSD card slot is also given alongside the two nano-SIM slots.
Moving on to its cameras, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ features a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary rear camera with an f/1.79 aperture, an 81-degree field of view, and autofocus support. A dual rear flash is also provided.
Camera features available on the device include Vlog, AI Cam, Portrait, Super Night, Pro, Panorama, Documents, Time-Lapse, Dual Video, Slow Motion, Ultra HD, AIGC Portrait, Sky Shop, and Live Photo Mode.
For selfies and video calls, an 8MP fixed-focus camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 77.8-degree field of view is given on the front. It supports video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.
Speaking of its battery, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ will be offered with either a 6,000mAh or 5,600mAh battery, depending on the market. The smartphone supports 45W wired fast charging and up to 10W reverse wired charging.
Regarding its software, the device runs on XOS 16 based on the Android 16 operating system. Infinix is promising three major Android operating system upgrades and five years of security patch updates for variants featuring 6GB RAM or above.
The smartphone also features One-Tap AI FlashMemo and the Ask Folax AI assistant. Eligible users will receive a three-month Google AI Plus trial at no additional cost, offering 2TB of cloud storage and expanded access to AI tools such as Gemini, Nano Banana 2, and NotebookLM.
For connectivity, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ supports 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G networks, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS navigation, FM radio, and an infrared blaster.
A USB Type-C port is given for charging and data transfers, along with USB OTG and USB Type-C earphone support. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Its other sensors include a G-sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, and vibration motor.
Also to add, the Infinix HOT 70 Pro 5G+ carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making it one of the more durable smartphones under the brand’s HOT series.
At this time, Infinix has not revealed the pricing, sale date, or complete market-wise availability details of the HOT 70 Pro 5G+. More information is expected to be announced by the brand in the coming days.
