Huawei Mate 60 series tipped to finally arrive with 5G network in August

Huawei smartphones arrive with interesting features like camera-centric devices and awesome battery life. But after 2020, the only disadvantage for the company was that Huawei can’t print new chipsets as its access to important components was disconnected by the US. Hence, Huawei P40 and Mate 40 series were the last flagships to offer 5G connectivity. After that, the devices released only offered 4G connectivity which made the smartphones less desirable for the consumers out there in comparison to their rivals out there in the market.

Though Huawei could use a 5G network the price is quite expensive while Huawei was only allowed to use 5G network smartphones in the Chinese territory. As per various reports and rumors, Huawei Mate 60 Pro will be making its debut in the second half of this year. This upcoming device has made its round on the internet quite a few times. But the interesting thing about this smartphone is that this device is tipped to feature 5G chips.

A tipster has shared follow-up threads about Huawei Mate 60 Pro returning with a 5G network. The tipster has also revealed the launch timeline.

As revealed by the tipster, the US has now loosened sanctions that allow Qualcomm to sell 5G chips to Huawei but the supply of this 5G network must use American technology. This means that the upcoming smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon  8 Gen 2 processor that will be clocked at 3.36GHz along with 5G network connectivity.

The tipster also shared various Weibo posts in which it was revealed that the upcoming could arrive with 3 storage variants-  8GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 12GB+1TB. Not only this the prices of these variants have also been forecasted:

  • 8GB+256GB- Rs.7499
  • 12GB+512GB- Rs.8999
  • 12GB+1TB- Rs.10999

Though Huawei has still not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the Huawei Mater 60 Pro or about the return of 5G. But as per the tipster, the device will be making its debut in August and will be going on sale in the month of September.
