HTC Teased A New Smartphone, Could be from the U24 Series

HTC, once a big name in the smartphone industry, seems to be trying to make a comeback. You might be wondering if it’s still around, and yes, it is. However, it is now more focused on VR and HTC Vive headsets. HTC has also launched some phones in between, like the U series, though these did not get much attention. This time company has teased a new smartphone in an X post. The post does not reveal the design of the handset though it’s not hard to tell either that it is a phone. It says “ALLFORU Coming Soon”. The image shared shows “Al24U” written on the handset.

This smartphone seems like the HTC U24/U24 Pro smartphone that is said to have appeared on the certification websites and was recently spotted on Google Play Console, Bluetooth SIG, and Geekbench. As per the Geekbench listing the smartphone can be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset paired with the Adreno 720 GPU. It will pack 12GB RAM and will run Android 14 out of the box. Its Bluetooth SIG listing confirms the support for Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Its listing on Google Play Console confirmed that the smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch display with a 1080×2436 pixels resolution and a screen density of 480 (xxhdpi). Its design render showed a curved display with a punch-hole camera. The rest of the information still remains under wrap. This is the same time when the company launched the U23 Pro in the market and now it can launch the U24 series too.
