Honor has officially announced the Honor X70 smartphone in China. It has been introduced as a mid‑range smartphone featuring an 8,300 mAh battery and dual 80W wired and wireless fast charging capability, starting at 1,399 yuan. Specs and Features
The Honor X70 features a 6.79‑inch flat OLED eye‑protecting display with a 1.5K resolution (2640 × 1200), 120Hz refresh rate, and 3840Hz high‑frequency PWM dimming. The display also supports a peak brightness of 6000 nits. Despite the large battery, the device is just 7.76 mm thick and weighs 193 g. For performance, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC (4nm), paired with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. It runs on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15.
A key highlight is the 8,300 mAh battery. All variants support 80W wired fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging, while the 512GB variant also supports 80W wireless charging and reverse wireless charging. In terms of cameras, the Honor X70 has a 50MP primary rear sensor with OIS and an 8MP front camera.
Other hardware includes a 3490 mm² vapour chamber, stereo speakers, and an in‑display fingerprint scanner. Connectivity features include dual SIM 5G, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, an IR blaster, USB Type‑C, dual‑frequency GPS, and triple‑frequency Beidou. The Honor X70 comes in Bamboo Melody Green, Cinnabar Red, Moon Shadow White, and Phantom Night Black. Pricing in China is as follows:

12GB/256GB – 1,799 yuan 12GB/512GB – 1,999 yuan. The first sale in China is scheduled for 18 July 2025.
