In global markets, the Honor X5d S smartphone was recently launched, and the brand has now introduced another similar device under its Play series. The Honor Play20C smartphone has been listed with dual displays, a 6,000mAh battery, and three memory options. Alongside it, the pricing of its 4GB/64GB variant has also been revealed in Nigeria.

Honor’s Play20C – Specifications and Features
As mentioned, the Honor Play20C smartphone shares similarities with the recently launched Honor X5d S, and the device features a 6.78″ LCD main display with a resolution of 1576 × 720 pixels and a typical brightness of 600 nits. Additionally, a 2.01″ secondary LCD display with a resolution of 296 × 240 pixels is also offered. The main display comes with Aluminosilicate glass protection, and support for 16.7 million colours has also been listed.
Speaking more about its specifications, the Honor Play20C is powered by the UNISOC T610 chipset, which is also offered on the Honor X5d S smartphone. However, the 4GB/128GB variant carries a different UNISOC T615 chipset. The former features two Cortex-A75 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, while the latter has two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 1.8GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.6GHz. Mali-G52 and Mali-G57 GPUs are offered with the T610 and T615 variants, respectively.
Also to note, the device runs on the Android 16 Go Edition operating system, and customers will be offered three memory configurations – 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 4GB/128GB.
About its cameras, a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a single LED flash is provided, while a 5MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture is offered for selfies. Both cameras support video recording at up to 1080p, and the rear camera also supports up to 4x digital zoom. The maximum image resolutions are listed as 4224 × 3136 pixels for the rear camera and 2592 × 1936 pixels for the front camera.
On the battery side, the Honor Play20C packs a 6,000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery with a rated capacity of 5,850mAh, and it supports 15W wired charging. A 15W power adaptor may also be included, depending on the market.
Other specifications include dual Nano-SIM support, 4G LTE connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port with USB 2.0 support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo navigation support is also provided. Additionally, the device features a fingerprint sensor, face recognition, an accelerometer, a gravity sensor, an ambient-light sensor, and a proximity sensor.
Regarding its build, the Honor Play20C measures 168.3 × 78.5 × 8.72mm and weighs approximately 214g. An IP52 rating for dust and water resistance is also offered, and the device comes in Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black colour choices.
Honor’s Play20C – Pricing and Availability
In Nigeria, the Honor Play20C smartphone has been listed at NGN 149,900 for its 4GB/64GB memory variant. However, pricing details for the other two memory options have not been shared yet.
