Honor Play 50 Plus launched officially in Chinese market; Check out the specifications and pricing
The Chinese smartphone brand Honor last year introduced Honor Play 40 Plus in its home country and this year the company has arrived with its successor- Honor Play 50 Plus. Previously the smartphone was spotted on the 3C certification website and now it has officially made its debut in China.
Honor Play 50 Plus: Pricing & Availability
This newly launched device arrives in 4 color variants- Magic Night Black, Mo Yuqing, Star Purple, and Streaming Silver. It comes in two storage configurations- 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB. The 12GB+256GB variant has been priced at CNY 1,399 and is already available for purchase in China through Honor’s official website. Till now the company has not revealed the pricing of the base variant of this device.
Honor Play 50 Plus: Specifications
The smartphone features a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display that offers FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 20:09 aspect ratio, and up to 850 nits brightness. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 processor that is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13.
The device is backed by a 6000mAh battery that supports 35W fast charging. It packs up a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it features an 8MP selfie camera. Other features include- a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, dual features, Hi-Res Audio support, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.1, and a USB-C port.
