Honor Magic 5 Pro, iQOO Z7 5G and POCO F5 Pro Receives NBTC Certification

A recent update indicates that the Honor Magic 5 Pro, iQOO Z7 5G and the POCO F5 Pro smartphones have received Thailand’s NBTC (The National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission) certification.

Three Smartphones from Honor, iQOO, and POCO were Spotted on NBTC Website

Reliable tipster, Abhishek Yadav has shared on the microblogging platform, Twitter that three new smartphones from Honor, Vivo’s iQOO, and POCO have appeared on the NBTC certification website. It is the Honor Magic 5 Pro, iQOO Z7 5G, and the POCO F5 Pro smartphones that have received the certification. Of the three smartphones, the iQOO Z7 5G has had its launch, and the other two smartphones, the Honor Magic 5 Pro and the POCO F5 Pro are soon to have their launch.

The certification doesn’t reveal much about the smartphone other than its network connectivity and model numbers. The Honor Magic 5 Pro, iQOO Z7 5G and the POCO F5 Pro have appeared on the certification with model numbers PGT-N19, I2213, and 23013PC75G respectively and all the smartphones will support 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network connectivity.

Honor Magic 5 Pro

The upcoming Honor Magic 5 Pro, other than its NBTC certification has also received China’s 3C certification, and the global variant of the smartphone had appeared on the FCC certification website and also on Geekbench.

From what is now known, the smartphone is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset and will operate on the Android 13-based MagicOS 7.1 custom user interface. It is also expected to be equipped with the Adreno 740 GPU.

For its display, the smartphone is expected to feature a 6.81″ LTPO OLED display which is to have a screen resolution of 1312 x 2848 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

On its rear, the smartphone should be having a 50MP + 50MP + 50MP triple camera setup with a TOF 3D depth sensor. For selfies, the smartphone is also expected to bring a 12MP ultrawide camera with a TOF 3D depth sensor.

The upcoming smartphone is also expected to have a battery backup of 5100 mAh which is to support a wired fast charge feature of 66W, a wireless fast charge feature of 50W, and will also support both wired and wireless reverse charging features.

Vivo’s iQOO Z7 5G

As mentioned, the iQOO Z7 5G smartphone has already been released and is now available in India at a starting price of Rs. 18,999. The full specifications of the smartphone are also now available.

The iQOO Z7 5G smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 (6 nm) chipset which has a primary clock speed of 2.5 GHz. It runs on the Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 and is also equipped with the Mali-G68 MC4 GPU.

The smartphone also features an AMOLED display with a screen size of Rs. 6.38 inches and will have a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device also has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Now regarding its cameras, the iQOO Z7 5G has a dual camera setup on its rear with a 64MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP depth camera. The device also has a front-facing of 16MP as well.

About its battery backup, the smartphone is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery which supports a fast charge feature of upto 44W.

POCO F5 Pro 5G

The POCO F5 Pro 5G is also an upcoming smartphone and is soon to have its launch with the POCO F5 5G smartphone. The smartphone has also by now received many certifications which include Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, TÜV certification, TDRA certification, and now the NBTC certification. 

The soon-to-be-launched smartphone is expected to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is likely to run on the Android 13-based MIUI(for POCO) custom user interface.

The smartphone is also likely to feature an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.67 inches and will probably have a 2K screen resolution with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

On its rear, the smartphone is expected to have a triple camera setup with a 64MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera along with a front-facing camera of 16MP.

The smartphone is also likely to have a battery backup of 5500 mAh which would probably support a 67W fast charge feature.
