Honor GT Pro Smartphone and Honor Pad GT Tablet Launch Officially Announced: Debuting Next Week in China
Honor, a leading Chinese consumer electronics maker has now officially announced the launch of new GT smartphone and tablet models in its home market. The two are set to debut next week in China.

Honor’s GT Pro and Pad GT – Launching on 23rd of April 2025
Following the December 2024-released Honor GT smartphone and the October 2024-released Honor Pad GT Pro tablet, Honor is preparing to unveil the Honor GT Pro smartphone and Honor Pad GT tablet in China. The launch of the two devices is scheduled to take place next week on the 23rd of April 2025, at 2:30 PM local time.
Speaking more, as indicated by their monikers, gaming specs and features can be expected on these upcoming devices. While the Honor GT Pro is teased to offer powerful performance (maybe powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip), an eye protection display and long lasting battery life are suggested for the Honor Pad GT.
Also, a projected squircle-shaped camera module will be present on the Honor GT Pro smartphone, housing four camera sensors and an LED light strip. The GT-branding is also there at the bottom-right corner of the camera module. Flat rear and side panels, and a White color choice are its other design features.
About Honor’s Pad GT, it also has flat rear and flat sides, and sports two square-shaped units at the top-left portion of the rear panel. One of them houses the primary camera, whereas the other has an LED flashlight and ‘AI camera’ marking. The selfie camera is present on the bezel, in landscape style. The device is also pointed out to be IMAX-enhanced with a quad speaker unit, and it will arrive in White and Blue color choices. The Blue color variant has a large Honor-branding too at the rear. A USB type-C charging interface can be found at the bottom as well.
The Honor Pad GT (model number – ROL-W60) via a screenshot is also revealed to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 Extreme Edition chipset (3.35 GHz), and integrate the ARM Mali G615 MC6 GPU. Honor’s self-developed GPU Turbo technology, Android 15 based MagicOS 9 custom skin, 12GB/256GB storage option, 2800 x 1840 pixels screen resolution, and 10100 mAh battery backup are its other revealed specs.
