For the past few days HMD India has been teasing the launch of a new device and the teasers suggested that the company may soon launch the HMD Barbie Flip phone. Well HMD India has yesterday officially confirmed that the Barbie Flip Phone will be coming soon to HMD.com.

This device has already made its debut in the global market and will finally be making its way into the Indian market as well.
Let’s take a look at the specs of the HMD Barbie Flip phone
The front features a mirror-finish display with the camera and LED flash situated in the top left corner. The back boasts a large Barbie badge, and the device comes with a QWERTY keypad. This mobile phone appears to be primarily targeted at girls.
Regarding specifications, the inner screen measures 2.8 inches with QVGA resolution, whilst the cover display is 1.77 inches with QQVGA resolution. The phone’s dimensions are 108.4 mm in height, 55.1 mm in width, and 18.9 mm in depth. It is lightweight, weighing just about 123.5 gms. It is powered by a UNISOC T107 SOC and runs on the S30+ operating system. It features 64 MB of RAM and 128 MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
The device also offers a Barbie-themed user interface, complete with Easter eggs and apps such as Malibu Snake, Digital Balance Tips, and Barbie Meditation. There is a ‘Bestie button’ on the device, which you can assign to one of your best friends for direct calling.
Additional features include an MP3 player, FM radio, a single speaker, and a microphone. The battery has a capacity of 1450 mAh, with HMD claiming it provides up to 9 hours of talk time. Furthermore, the phone supports LTE Dual SIM, and Bluetooth 5.0, and comes equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port.
In the global market the device comes without a wall charger, let’s see if in India it comes with a charger or not.
