Google finally launched its highly anticipated series- Google Pixel 8 just a few days back in the global as well as Indian markets. The series includes two smartphones- Google Pixel 8 and Google Pixel 8 Pro. One of the appealing specifications of these devices was their camera features but what we didn’t know was Google will also be offering the best displays to their consumers.
DXOMARK has recently started the testing of display and audio parameters of the Google Pixel 8 series and amazingly Google Pixel 8 Pro has scored the number one position globally in its display testing leaving its other competitors behind. Not only this the smartphone has also secured the top position in Ultra Premium ranking.
Google Pixel 8 Pro has scored overall 154 points in DXOMARK display testing across multiple factors like readability, color, video, motion, touch, and artifacts. In readability, the device has scored 162 points and as per DXOMARK, this device is the most readable product including outdoors and in direct sunlight and the text readability is much sharper on this Pixel device than the iPhone Pro Max.
Google Pixel 8 Pro offers a class-leading performance in color. Tested in its default adaptive color mode, it offers faithful skin tones in lightning conditions ranging from low light to outdoors as well as pleasant and vivid rendering of photos overall. This device also offers a solid experience in HDR10 playback with pleasant brightness and contrast rendering,
This smartphone showed no frame drops during testing though there were some slight frame mismatches while playing video games. Google Pixel 8 Pro also had very good touch to response time while the flicker level of the smartphone is similar to that of Apple and Samsung smartphones.
