First OnePlus N-Series Smartphone, OnePlus N6, Launched in India With Dimensity 6360 Apex Processor and 615,800+ AnTuTu Score

The day has finally arrived, as the first N-series smartphone from the brand – OnePlus has now broken its cover in the Indian market as the segment’s biggest battery, largest VC cooling system, 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support, MIL-STD-810H durability rating, and more.

OnePlus N6 – Specs and Features

The OnePlus N6 smartphone features a curved body design with a flat display, softly rounded edges, and a square-shaped rear camera module. It carries a thickness of 8.88mm and a weight of 224 grams.

Coming to its display, the smartphone sports a 6.8″ HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 1570 x 720 pixels, 254 PPI pixel density, 19.6:9 aspect ratio, and a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio. The display supports up to 120Hz refresh rate, 975 nits typical brightness, and 1200 nits HBM brightness. Eye Protection Mode, Sleep Mode, Smart Switch Refresh Rate, screen colour temperature adjustment, Dark Mode, screen colour mode, and manual brightness adjustment are amongst it other display features.

Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6360 Apex chipset, it has managed to achieve an AnTuTu score of over 615,800 points and comes paired with up to 6GB physical RAM, along with 6GB virtual RAM support, thereby offering up to 12GB RAM in total. Though, only 128GB internal storage is given, it supports up to 2TB expandable storage.

Furthermore, the device features a 5300mm² VC cooling system, with a total heat dissipation area of 13280mm².

OnePlus N6 – Battery and Charging

This the newly-launched OnePlus N6 carries a massive 8000mAh battery and supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 5W wired reverse charging, and By-Pass Charging too. As per the company, the smartphone can charge from 1% to 50% in 47 minutes, while a quick 5-minute charge is claimed to offer up to 1.7 hours of YouTube playback.

Speaking more about the battery backup, OnePlus claims that the device can deliver up to 14.83 hours of gaming, 165.37 hours of music playback, 24.8 hours of video playback, 34.36 hours of social media scrolling, 60.1 hours of calling, 13.06 hours of video recording, 26.22 hours of navigation, and up to 919.04 hours of standby time.

With the Super Power Saving Mode enabled, the device is also claimed to offer up to 0.60 hours of calling, 9.19 hours of standby, and 0.26 hours of navigation at just 1% battery. At 5% battery, users will reportedly be able to get up to 3 hours of calling, 45.95 hours of standby, and 1.31 hours of navigation.

Regarding battery health and safety, the OnePlus N6 is claimed to support up to 1600 complete charge cycles. The company further adds that the smartphone can retain more than 97.28% battery health after 1 year and more than 80% battery health even after 7 years. It also comes with four layers of charging safety, including extreme temperature resistance, battery drop protection, overcharge protection, and flat compression protection.

OnePlus N6 – Camera

For optics, the smartphone carries a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, auto-focus support, and up to 10x digital zoom. It supports 1080p video recording at up to 60fps on the 6GB RAM variant, 720p video recording at up to 60fps, 720p slow-motion video recording at 120fps, and 1080p time-lapse recording at 30fps. The rear camera also supports Dual-view video shooting and video zoom shooting of up to 10x digital zoom.

On the front, the device has an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, and it supports 1080p and 720p video recording at 30fps.

In addition to this, the device also comes with multiple AI camera features such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, AI Perfect Shot, and AI Unblur. To note, the AI Eraser feature comes with a daily usage limit of 400 times.

OnePlus N6 – Durability and Audio

The OnePlus N6 comes with MIL-STD-810H durability certification and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.

The company mentions that it uses a larger speaker chamber to deliver improved loudness of 400% Ultra volume.

OnePlus N6 – Pricing and Availability

The newly-launched OnePlus N6 smartphone’s open sale will begin on the 4th of July 2026 at 12 AM IST, and it will be available for purchase via Amazon India and the OnePlus India official website. Talking about the pricing, well, the 4GB + 128GB variant is priced at INR 22,999, whereas the 6GB + 128GB variant carries a price tag of INR 24,999. Adding to this, the device will be made available in Fresh Mint and Midnight Green colour options.
