Meizu 22 and its Homecoming China Flagship Limited Edition Officially Unveiled in China; StarV Snap AI Glasses, Flyme AIOS 2, Flyme Auto 2, and PANDAER Accessories Also Introduced Alongside it

At its recently-held Meizu 22 Flagship Phone and Flyme AIOS Ecosystem Launch Conference, the Chinese consumer electronics maker – Meizu has officially unveiled the Meizu 22 as its very first Meizu 22 series flagship smartphone model, together with a Homecoming China Flagship Limited Edition version. Alongside this latest smartphone, the brand has also introduced the StarV Snap AI glasses, Flyme AIOS 2, Flyme Auto 2, and many PANDAER accessories.

Meizu 22 and Meizu 22 Homecoming China Flagship Limited Edition

Meizu’s 22 flagship smartphone has been launched with the tagline – ‘Flagship Imaging Right in Your Palm’, and it uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. The device has the Flyme AIOS 2 out of the box too, and it is TUV SUD gaming scene smoothness S-level and 72-month smoothness A+ level certified. On the display size, it features a 6.3″ eye-protective display with the highest screen-to-body ratio, 1.5K resolution, 1~120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and full DC dimming.

Coming to its cameras, at the rear, a 50MP (main) + 50MP (3x periscope telephoto) + 50MP (ultra-wide) triple camera system is given. For selfies, it also sports a 50MP front-facing camera too. Additionally, five golden focal lengths for portraits, 100x AI ultra-clear telephoto shooting, 15cm telephoto macro capturing, and multiple imaging modes are its further camera specs and features. Regarding its battery specs, a 5510 mAh battery is packed within it, supporting 80W wired and 66W wireless fast charging features. OneMind battery optimization technology is also an added spec.

Other key specs include the device’s golden size body (with 71mm comfortable grip, fully symmetrical front and back, four equal R angles, 0.8mm four-sided White panel), ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, Aicy dynamic ring, X-axis horizontal linear motor, and IP66+IP68 dust and water resistance.

About its availability and pricing details, 12GB/256GB (CNY 2,999), 16GB/256GB (CNY 3299), 12GB/512GB (CNY 3399), 16GB/512GB (CNY 3699), and 16GB/1TB (CNY 4199) storage variants are available at the mentioned price points (initial pricing*). Customers will be able to get the device in three color choices of Meizu White, Boundless Black, and Love Pink.

A Meizu 22 Homecoming China Flagship Limited Edition model has also been brought out by the brand at CNY 4199 for the 16GB/512GB storage variant. Its booking will be beginning at the end of September 2025, and the delivery will start from the 15th of October 2025. Customized rear panel design, customized themes, customized mobile phone case, customized plaques, customized ejecting pin, customized charging adapter, and more are part of its gift box.

Meizu StarV Snap

Meizu’s Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1-powered StarV Snap AI photography glasses feature a 39gm ergonomic design to offer stress-free wearing, and it has a 1:1 golden weight distribution along with 50+ ergonomic adjustments. A 12MP professional camera lens (with 109° wide-angle, f/2.2 large aperture, 5P custom optical lens) is given, supporting both 720P long-term continuous HD shooting and 1080P FHD 40 minutes shooting. Features like live photos, film filters, immersive acoustic pickup and noise reduction, multi-modal interaction and portable operation, and many AI capabilities are also there. A long lasting battery life can also be expected, and it comes with a dedicated charging box that can provide up to 9 times of charging.

In terms of design, a classic frame that suits all face types and versatile lens options (photochromic, sunglasses, myopia lenses, endless styles) are being offered to customers. Regarding the price details, it carries a price tag of CNY 1999. Additionally, a StarV Snap Charging Case Set priced at CNY 2298 (charging case – CNY 399) and lens set with a first sale price of CNY  2198 (lens – CNY 299) are also offered. Other purchase benefits include the 12-month interest-free installments, CNY 100 off, and share order to get CNY 50 back.

Flyme AIOS 2

With the latest Flyme AIOS 2 notable features like Aicy Shopping Assistant 2.0 (with one-click price guarantee, query automatic deductions, apply custom actions), Small Window Mode 5.0 (with dual application collaborative operation, free drag window, three tasks parallel management), AI Gallery, Memory Video 2.0, AI filter, automatic correction, rich icon style selection, game mode (with performance enhancement, adaptive frame rate, touch optimization) and Small Travel support for Railway 12306 and Air Travel have been brought. The brand has also noted that it will be bringing even more feature updates and improvements to the Flyme AIOS 2.

Flyme Auto 2

Regarding Flyme Auto 2, a fully-upgraded 3D texture, one-shot entire scene, Alive wallpapers, new small windows, Aicy big card, new AI vision system, AI mind reading, AI square, deeply customized applications, web application, moving space, unbounded cloud space, unbounded connectivity, and child care are its notable features.

PANDAER Accessories

For the Meizu 22 flagship, PANDAER re-screening magnetic anti-bacterial and anti-drop case has been brought out starting from CNY 99, along with dust-free instant-attachable tempered glass starting from CNY 69. [Just to add, PANDAER re-screening magnetic anti-bacterial and anti-drop case has also been introduced for the latest iPhone 17 series models too.]

A PANDAER 66W Light Air Cooled Wireless Charger will be made available soon, while the PANDAER 2-in-1 Desktop Wireless Charger is available for CNY 199. To add, the PANDAER 2-in-1 Desktop Wireless Charger supports 15W wireless charging intelligent temperature control, along with features like safe charging, metal frame, heat dissipation separation, metal hinge, and step-less adjustment.

Meizu’s PANDAER 45W GaN Small Battery Pro with Tide Charger at CNY 99 and PANDAER 45W AI Small TV with Tide Charger (to be made available soon) are other accessories that have been introduced. Also, more such accessories will be coming from the brand’s side soon.
