Samsung Unveils Galaxy Book5 Series in India with AI-Powered Features, 3K AMOLED Display and Intel Ultra Processors

Samsung has launched its latest AI-powered laptop lineup in India, introducing the Galaxy Book5 Pro, Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, and Galaxy Book5 360. The new Galaxy Book5 series comes with Intel Core Ultra processors, Galaxy AI features, and Microsoft’s Copilot+ AI assistance, aiming to enhance productivity and efficiency.

For the first time, Samsung’s Galaxy Book5 series includes AI-driven features powered by a dedicated neural processing unit (NPU). The AI Select feature allows users to extract information instantly, similar to Google’s Circle to Search, while Photo Remaster improves image quality using AI enhancements. Additionally, Microsoft’s Copilot+ integration provides AI-powered assistance for writing, scheduling, and research.

The Galaxy Book5 series is powered by Intel Core Ultra (Series 2) processors, offering up to 47 TOPS (Tera operations per second) for AI processing. The GPU performance sees a 17% boost, while CPU single-core performance is up by 16% compared to the previous generation. The Lunar Lake architecture also improves AI compute power by 3x, reducing SoC power consumption by 40%.

Battery life is another highlight, with up to 25 hours of usage and super-fast charging. Samsung claims the Galaxy Book5 Pro can reach 41% charge in just 30 minutes.

The Pro models come with 14-inch and 16-inch 3K Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays featuring a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and Vision Booster technology for enhanced visibility in all lighting conditions. The Galaxy Book5 360 features a 15.6-inch FHD AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate.

For audio, Quad Speakers with Dolby Atmos support are available on Pro models, while the Book5 360 features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Samsung has integrated Multi-Device Connectivity with features like Phone Link, Quick Share, Multi-Control, and Second Screen, allowing users to seamlessly work across their Galaxy devices. Samsung Knox ensures security and privacy across the lineup.

Pricing, Availability, and Offers

The Galaxy Book5 series starts at INR 114,900, which is INR 15,000 lower than the previous generation. Pre-booking offers include the Galaxy Buds3 Pro at INR 2,999 (originally INR 19,999) for early buyers. The laptops will be available starting March 20, 2025, across Samsung.com, Samsung Exclusive Stores, online platforms, and key retail outlets.
