The American tech giant – Microsoft has now introduced two of its new Surface Copilot+ PC models powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Plus chip. Pre-booking for both the Copilot+ PCs went live today and it will be made available this month itself.

Surface Pro (12″)
The newly-introduced Surface Pro model of 2025 retains the 2-in-1 form factor design and will allow its users to make use of it both as a laptop as well as a tablet. The detachable keyboard and built-in adjustable kickstand are again notable features, with the Surface Slim Pen now able to attach magnetically at the back – for storage and charging.
Speaking more, along with the Snapdragon X Plus chip, the 45 TOPS NPU, all-day battery life, and 1.5 pound (680 kg) weight are further specs. The new keyboard has also received certain upgrades – it attaches easily, lies flat for quiet typing experience, folds back completely flat, smooth matte palm rest, full-size back-lit keys, and customizable precision touchpad with adaptive touch mode. Copilot key and Lock key are also given.
Design and build-wise, it has been made environmental-friendly, and three color variants are available – Slate, Ocean, and Violet. About its pricing, it will start at USD 799 and will be made available from the 20th of May 2025 in selected global markets.
Surface Laptop (13″)
Coming to the Surface Laptop 2025 model, it is pointed out to be the thinnest and lightest Surface Laptop so far, and offers enhanced portability, performance, and AI capability. The device also has a premium anodized aluminium chassis, and has three color choices of Ocean, Violet, and Platinum.
On the performance side, it uses the Snapdragon X Plus processor as mentioned and integrates the 45 TOPS NPU. The longest ever battery life on a Surface Laptop – up to 23 hours is claimed on the latest device. A 13″ FHD touchscreen display with ultra-thin bezels, AI-enhanced camera with auto video HDR and AI noise reduction, keyboard offering comfortable and quiet typing experience, power button cum fingerprint reader, Copilot key, and a customizable precision touchpad with adaptive touch mode are its other specs. This new Surface Laptop is also environmentally friendly.
Regarding its pricing and availability, it has a starting price of USD 899 and will be made available from the 20th of May 2025 in selected global markets. Just to add, it can also be paired with the brand’s own Surface Arc Mouse to complete the looks and get better functionality.
