As announced earlier, Insta360 has officially introduced its all-new Insta360 Luna Pro camera in the Chinese market.

This is the industry’s first 4K vertical shooting gimbal camera. It features a 20mm 1-inch Leica main camera with f/1.8, 14-stop Dynamic Range and 3-axis gimbal stabilisation. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and AI Imaging chip. There is also a 2-inch detachable OLED screen.
It offers 47GB of internal storage, and the storage is expandable up to 2TB. The device is equipped with a 1550 mAh battery, and the detachable screen is equipped with a 210 mAh battery.
The company claims that the gimbal camera can shoot up to 4K@120fps/ 8K@30fps/ 2.7K@120fps/ 1080p@240fps resolution with Dolby Vision. It can also record 4K vertical video with a sensor crop. Meanwhile, the camera can capture portrait videos at up to 80mm equivalent in 4K 60p.
The camera can record 8K Dolby Vision, 4K 120FPS Slow motion, 4K 60fps night-scene video, and 4K UHD Live Photo. For colour, the Luna Pro includes three Leica presets: Chrome, Natural and Vivid, along with 6 cinematic filters. For portraits, the camera can detect facial contours and skin texture in real time, smoothing skin while preserving facial details.
It also has a built-in colour temperature sensor that measures surrounding light and automatically adjusts the white balance. A multi-skin-tone AI algorithm is also included, while the built-in four microphones can record audio from a distance.
The camera boasts 240 minutes of 1080p 240fps recording, 45W PD 3.0/PPS Control, Leica optics, AI Depth Tracking 5.0, 10-bit I-Log, WiFi 6, Bluetooth, NFC and USB 3.0.
