Google Android XR smart glasses will look like actual glasses and offer some advanced features

Nearly a decade ago, Google introduced its Google Glass in the market, but the smart glass faced a backlash due to the glasshole on its face. It seems like the company will not be giving up on smart glasses yet, as recently at the Google I/O event, the company announced its Project Aura, which focuses on the upcoming smart glasses powered by Android XR.
The upcoming Android XR smart glass looks like actual glasses. The company has partnered with innovative eyewear brands, starting with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, to create stylish glasses with Android XR. In the future, the company will be working with more partners, like Kering Eyewear, to bring even more options to users.
At the event, Google has also offered a sneak peek at its latest innovation, Android XR glasses powered by Gemini AI. Users can message friends, make appointments, ask for turn-by-turn directions, take photos, and more with the help of these glasses. The glasses also help in live language translation.
Android XR smart glass will be equipped with a camera, microphones and speakers while it gives you access to your apps without ever having to reach for your phone and there is also an optional in-lens display that privately provides helpful information right when you need it.
