Fitbit debuts on android via Google Pixel watch, Here are the complete specs

Google’s first android watch shows a lot of potential as it comes with Fitbit features. Pixel watch is Google’s first smartwatch. According to CNET Pixel watch has a round face and Fitbit features like a tracker.

Google revealed the Pixel watch in its annual developer conference held in May. Pixel watch came alongside the Pixel 7, and Pixel 7 Pro.

Pixel Fall Event –

Google’s WearOS is largely used in the smartwatch market and is used by brands like Samsung, Fossil, and Michael Kors.

However, Google has no smartwatch under its hood. Google purchased Fitbit in the year 20201 at a price of $350.

Google Pixel watch is the first smartwatch as Google’s flagship smartwatch.

Pixel watch has an elegant design which makes it different from any other smartwatch available in the market.

Google has a lot to catch up in the smartwatch market as it came after 7 years of the Apple watch.

Apple leads the smartwatch market, and if we talk about android compatible smartwatches Samsung is the lead seller in the market.

Pixel watch is better than the other android compatible watches available in the market because of its looks and the Fitbit health metrics.

According to Google, Pixel is a watch for people who want to have Fitbit’s health metrics along with the calling features and other specifications that are available in smartwatches.

Fitbit sense 2 available in the market at a price of $300 includes additional features like skin temperature measurements and the ability to detect potential signs of stress.

The Pixel watch can be a test for all the smartwatches about what is the most valuable aspect of the smartwatches for the public.

Pixel Watch –

The Pixel watch is a premium smartwatch and has an aesthetic approach. It has a scratch-resistant Corning Glass 5. To make it look like any ordinary watch it has a stainless-steel housing.

Google Pixel comes with water-resistant up to 5 ATM, meaning the watch can easily withstand pressure equal to 50 Meters depth.

Just like Apple Watch, the Google Pixel has the feature of an always-on display meaning it can display the time and other information while being idle.

In terms of design, Google Pixel is a good competitor of Apple Watch.

The difference is the circular design rather than the square.

The crown on the pixel watch has a double role, it acts as a button as well as a scroll wheel.

The doomed glass is what makes the Pixel watch different from the rest of the smartwatches in the market.

Pixel Watch battery and some other key features –

The battery aspect of the Pixel watch is disappointing as it lasts for 24 hours only after a full charge.

Pixel watch runs on Samsung’s Exynos 9110 processor and contains a co-processor.

Google offers 3 months of free YouTube music premium to its buyers and will have a built-in speaker and microphone to support calls and Google Assistant.

The most surprising thing about the Google Pixel watch is that it does not come with Google’s own Tensor processor, which is a big part of the phone experience.

For maximizing power and performance Google Pixel Watch handles different tasks using the system’s chip and a co-processor.

For e.g., Co-processor handles small things like step counting, GPS, and background heart rate, and the main processor drives wear OS and LTE functions.

Early thoughts about Pixel watch –

Most of the smartwatches available in the market specialize either in fashion or fitness, but the Google Pixel watch comes with a mixture of fitness and fashion making it a unique product.

The question here is that will it be enough to make Google Pixel Watch a hit in the market with well-established companies like Samsung, Fitbit, Garmin, Michael Kors, and others.
