Sony Electronics launching new headphones on 19th May; Could be the Sony ColleXion Headphones
Previous reports suggested that Sony would be expanding its premium audio lineup with the Sony ColleXion Headphones (also known as WH-1000XX), but there was no official announcement made regarding the same.
Yesterday, Sony Electronics officially teased the launch of its new headphones on 19th May at 9 AM PST.

The teaser reveals premium over-ear headphones with glossy accents and textured ear cups. The company has not announced the moniker of this device, but it is assumed that this upcoming headphone is the Sony ColleXion Headphones.
In related news, Android Headlines recently shared the renders of Sony ColleXion Headphones. The headphones are said to arrive with a new hinge design. The revamped hinge design is expected to improve durability, as in the past, users have raised issues about the hinge in the earlier Sony WH-1000X series headphones. It is revealed in White and Black colour options (official colour names not known). It arrives with leather or vegan material. There is a USB-C port on the right ear cup. As per the report, the headphones could be priced around $649 in the global market.
The detailed specs and official pricing of the upcoming Sony headphones will be revealed at their official launch on 19th May.
