Redmi Headphones Neo and Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Essential officially unveiled in Japan
The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has unveiled its latest Xiaomi Bluetooth Speaker Essential in the Japanese market, while its sub-brand Redmi has launched Redmi Headphones Neo in the country.

This is a 1.5-inch, 5W full-range speaker that is equipped with large passive radiators that reproduce rich bass and clear, natural vocals. The rounded body is wrapped in high-quality fabric mesh.
With its built-in 1000mAh battery, it can play continuously for 10 hours on a single charge. It boasts an IP66 dustproof and waterproof rating. There are a variety of listening options. It supports Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, stereo pairing and USB sound card functionality. With multi-speaker pairing functionality, you can synchronise playback with up to 10 smart speakers.
You can also answer calls with a single tap and enjoy hands-free conversation. It measures 9.8×4.6x13cm and weighs approximately 200g.

The headphones offer high-performance ANC with up to 42dB. There are three manually adjustable noise-cancelling levels as well as an Adaptive Noise Cancelling mode. It is equipped with 3 mics that support AI Call Noise reduction. Meanwhile, Wind noise cancellation during calls works even in environments with wind speeds up to 5m/s.
It comes with a 40mm Titanium Coated Dynamic Driver. The Hi-Res audio certification ensures that even the smallest details of the sound are reproduced with clarity. With USB Audio support, you can connect to your smartphone or laptop via cable. There are four preset EQ modes: Balanced sound, bass enhancement, Treble enhancement, Voice enhancement and a custom option.
The ear cushions are made of skin-friendly protein leather, providing a soft and comfortable fit, while the breathable memory foam is also there.
