Moto Buds 2 Fusion - India Launch

Motorola is going to launch a new TWS earbuds in the Indian market called the Moto Buds 2 Fusion, as its dedicated microsite has now gone live on Flipkart. Not just the launch date, but the microsite has also revealed the specs and features of this upcoming TWS.

Furthermore, its product page listing is also live on Motorola India’s official website, revealing almost everything about the earbuds. However, the pricing and open sale date are still missing from both listings.

Interestingly, there is a slight confusion regarding the launch date. The banner visible outside the Flipkart microsite mentions 17th September 2026, whereas after opening the microsite, 15th September is mentioned. Going by the main banner, the former appears more likely to be the launch date, though we will have to wait for Motorola to clear this up.

Moto Buds 2 Fusion – Specifications and Features

Speaking of its specs, the Moto Buds 2 Fusion features 12.4mm titanium-coated drivers with Motorola’s proprietary audio tuning.

The earbuds come with Dynamic ANC of up to 55dB, along with Transparency Mode and Spatial Audio support. Speaking of the supported codecs, AAC and SBC are offered.

For calls, Motorola has equipped the earbuds with a total of six high-SNR microphones, along with CrystalTalk AI for noise cancellation.

Coming to connectivity, the Moto Buds 2 Fusion supports Bluetooth 6.0 and dual-device connection with automatic switching between connected devices.

Other features include touch controls, wear detection, earbud fit test, Gaming Mode with low-latency audio, customisable EQ with Bass Boost, user-adjustable controls, Ring My Buds, and voice-assistant activation.

Moto AI support is also offered when the earbuds are paired with compatible Motorola smartphones.

Coming to the battery, each earbud packs a 62mAh battery, whereas the charging case is backed by a 530mAh battery.

The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 13 hours of playback on a single charge and up to 53 hours of total battery life with the charging case.

Fast charging is supported as well, with a 10-minute charge claimed to offer up to three hours of playback.

Speaking more about durability, the earbuds come with an IP54 rating, whereas the charging case carries an IPX2 rating.

The charging case measures 59.9 × 46.3 × 28.4mm and weighs 42g.

Motorola will be offering the Moto Buds 2 Fusion in three colour choices – PANTONE Tap Shoe, PANTONE Laurel, and PANTONE Surf the Web.

Notably, towards the end of its Flipkart microsite, Motorola has also shared a comparison table featuring the Moto Buds 2 Fusion, Moto Buds 2, and Moto Buds 2 Plus, giving us a better idea about where the new TWS will sit within the brand’s earbuds lineup.

As mentioned above, while almost all of its key specs and features have now been revealed, Motorola is yet to announce the pricing and open sale date of the Moto Buds 2 Fusion in India.
