Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO has now launched a new over-ear gaming headset in its home market of China, alongside the iQOO 16 smartphone and iQOO Pad Ultra tablet.
The brand had previously launched its first over-ear gaming headset in China in June 2024, and that model came with a wired connection.

The newly launched iQOO Over-Ear Gaming Headset comes with the BES2710Y-8X audio chip and a 40mm driver, with a frequency response range of 20Hz–40kHz. The headset supports AAC, SBC and LDAC audio codecs.
The headset offers four-mode connectivity and supports PCs, tablets, smartphones and gaming consoles. It also comes with a low-latency wireless transmitter, while the brand claims an end-to-end gaming latency of as low as 47ms.
Bluetooth 5.4 with three-device connectivity and pop-up pairing are also supported. The wireless range is listed as up to 10 metres in an open environment.
Regarding its audio features, the iQOO Over-Ear Gaming Headset offers dedicated PC and mobile spatial sound fields with 360-degree 3D audio. It also comes with Monster Sound esports effects designed for FPS games, along with custom EQ adjustments for enhancing footsteps and gunshot sounds.

The headset has four ECM microphones and two MEMS microphones, with support for call noise reduction. Adaptive active noise cancellation is also available, with the brand claiming up to 58dB of noise reduction. Users can switch between noise cancellation and ambient-sound modes.
Speaking more, the headset supports cross-ecosystem connectivity, customisable Bluetooth pop-ups, smart translation and AI-powered announcements. For controls, it has an ANC/Bluetooth button, a power button and a scroll wheel.
The headset features a textured halo-style headband and uses what the brand describes as excimer material. It measures 180.5 × 147.6 × 86.3mm and has a listed weight of 251 ± 5g.
Regarding its battery life, iQOO claims that the headset can offer up to 68 hours of gaming with ANC enabled and up to 150 hours of music playback with ANC disabled. It charges through a USB Type-C port and takes approximately 2.5 hours to charge.
The iQOO Over-Ear Gaming Headset is priced at CNY 699 in China and comes in a Speed Black colour option.
