Last year in September, the Chinese consumer electronics maker – Huawei officially launched its FreeBuds 7i earbuds device in its home market in China, and after almost eight months, it has now been announced for the Indian market as well. The product page of the latest earbuds is currently live on Flipkart, revealing its key specs and pricing details, however, its official sale date in the country is yet to be announced.

Huawei FreeBuds 7i – Specs and Features
The Huawei FreeBuds 7i earbuds feature the brand’s Intelligent Dynamic ANC 4.0 system, and it is claimed to offer faster, deeper, and more accurate noise cancellation. The earbuds come with an 8 mm² air vent and three powerful microphones, which work together with the advanced ANC system to keep unwanted background noise away.
With its noise cancellation capability, the device is said to deliver less than 0.5 seconds noise cancellation response, 28dB average full-band noise cancellation depth, and 50% less noise cancellation lag. Unlimited Spatial Audio with head tracking is also supported across devices and content sources, offering users a more immersive listening experience.
Coming to its audio specs, the FreeBuds 7i equips an 11 mm quad-magnet dynamic driver, and this is said to deliver lifelike vocals, deep textures, and studio-grade balance. Hi-Res Audio Wireless support is also given on the device, along with 10 EQ bands and personalized audio styles for users to fine-tune the listening experience based on their preference.
Regarding the calling experience, the latest Huawei earbuds feature a new bone conduction microphone along with three microphones, and AI noise cancellation support has also been provided for stable and clear calls. Huawei has also added hands-free call control support, and users will be able to answer or reject incoming calls by nodding or shaking their head.
Other key features of the device include dual-device connection support, compatibility with Android and iOS devices, gesture controls, AI Life app support, and IP54 dust and water resistance. Touch-and-hold, swipe, double-tap, and triple-tap gestures are supported on the earbuds, allowing users to control multiple functions directly from the earbuds.
As per the Flipkart listing, the Huawei FreeBuds 7i earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity and come with an 11 mm dynamic driver. The earbuds weigh 5.4 gm each, and have dimensions of 31.9 mm x 21 mm x 24.6 mm. Its sales package includes one pair of earbuds, one charging cable, additional silicone ear tips, warranty card, and quick start guide.
Speaking more about its battery specs, the device is listed to offer up to 35 hours of playtime with the charging case. The charging case is said to take 1 hour to charge fully, while the earbuds can be charged in 40 minutes. Fast charging support is also listed for the device.
Pricing and Availability
The Huawei FreeBuds 7i earbuds will be made available in three color choices in the Indian market, and these include Pink, White, and Black color options.
About its pricing and availability details, the Flipkart listing reveals that the device will be priced at INR 8,799 in India, while its actual listed price is INR 13,999. As mentioned above, its official sale date has not yet been shared, and the listing currently only mentions “Coming Soon”. Since the product page is now live on Flipkart, the earbuds may soon be made available for purchase in the country.
