This is the toughest Gorilla Glass ever developed. During surveying multiple consumers they found that they wanted something that can withstand scratch and damage caused by shock or drop.
They wanted both of these qualities in the same place, not individually. As per the developers can survive a drop height of upto 2 meters. Other aluminosilicate glasses are prone to damage as soon as they even cross 0.8m of height but Corning Gorilla Glass Victus is not like others.
