The Indian eyewear solutions company, Lenskart, is set to launch its first pair of AI-powered smart glasses, called “B by Lenskart”.
Early access to B by Lenskart has already begun in the Indian market at an early-access price of Rs 22,000. It is accompanied by Japanese Ultra-Thin Blue Light Lenses, a charging case and a charging cable (phone/laptop compatible).
B by Lenskart: Key details revealed
The smart glass is powered by Snapdragon AR1 Gen 1. It delivers up to 4 hours of battery and an additional 48 hours with the charging case. It can be charged up to 50% in just 15 minutes. The smart glass is equipped with a 12MP Sony camera, and it can record 1080p video at 30fps.
The 32GB built-in storage allows users to capture photos and videos and save them directly to the glasses. There is an LED indicator that lets people around you know when you capture a moment. Users can take a call or listen to music hands-free with 2 speakers that deliver open-air directional audio, and a 3-microphone array for clear calls and voice commands.
Enabled with intelligent sound modes so you can boost audio when noisy, or switch to whisper mode for private listening. It weighs just 40g. The smart glass supports high power compatibility from -6 to +6. It is available with sun & transition lenses. It is supported by the B By Lenskart companion app. It features a curved base for a secure fit, a built-in rubberised nose pad for a better grip and straight temples for all-day comfort.
B by Lenskart supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity (iOS 18 and above; Android 12 and above), touch controls, and voice controls. It arrives with ‘Hey Buddy’ AI Companion built with Google Gemini. Buddy supports 40+ languages, gives instant answers and boasts a Live AI feature. The smart glass comes in a Matte Black colour option.
