Ambrane has officially announced the launch of its new Reneo AA and AAA batteries in India, and the brand claims these to be India’s first AAA Type-C rechargeable batteries that can be charged similarly to smartphones. With this latest launch, Ambrane has now entered a completely new product category, while also introducing a reusable and eco-friendly alternative to conventional disposable batteries.

Ambrane Reneo AA and AAA Rechargeable Batteries – Features and Pricing
Speaking about the features, the newly-launched Reneo AA and AAA batteries support direct Type-C charging, thus removing the requirement for separate charging docks. Users can recharge these batteries using a standard Type-C cable itself, similar to smartphones and other modern electronic devices.
The company also mentions that the batteries support a 10-minute emergency charge feature, while a full recharge can reportedly be completed in under one to two hours. These batteries are aimed at being used across multiple household and personal devices such as TV remotes, wireless mouse devices, toys, trimmers, cameras, speakers, and gaming controllers.
Regarding sustainability, Ambrane claims that each Reneo AAA battery is capable of replacing up to 100 disposable batteries, which is expected to help in reducing battery waste while also offering a more cost-effective solution for users in the long run.
On the safety side, the batteries are equipped with an inbuilt protection circuit that offers safeguards against overcharging, overcurrent, and short circuits. Additionally, the batteries also feature a leak-proof and non-flammable design for safer day-to-day usage.
Speaking about the launch, Ashok Rajpal stated that charging and power solutions have always remained at the core of the brand’s business, and entering the rechargeable battery segment was a natural extension of that journey. He further added that with Reneo AAA, the company is bringing the convenience of Type-C charging to everyday batteries while also offering a smarter and more sustainable alternative to disposable cells.
Coming to the pricing, the Ambrane Reneo AA batteries are priced at ₹499, while the AAA variant carries a price tag of ₹399. The products are currently available via the Ambrane India website, Amazon India, and leading retail stores across the country as well.
