AI Pin: Humane’s first AI Device announced, to be powered by an advanced Snapdragon platform

Humane Inc. announced its first device, called AI Pin on 30 June 2023. Prior to this, Humane was updating the world that they will come up with a post-smartphone and first AI gadget. The company yesterday responded to the anticipation through the upcoming device’s announcement.

Humane Inc. is a company formed by former Apple employees.

The AI Pin is a standalone device, which will feature a software platform. The software platform will use the power of AI to further facilitate advanced and innovative personal computing experiences.

An advanced Snapdragon platform will power the device. Humane is collaborating with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. to lay down the form factor for this device.

Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, Co-founders of Humane mentioned that the AI Pin will provide an opportunity for us to take AI along with us everywhere. They expressed that we will be able to experience a new era of seamless, sensory, and screenless mobile computing.

According to Dev Singh, Vice President of Business Development of Qualcomm Technologies, the AI Pin will feature an assortment of in-device AI capabilities.

We can expect that superior AI experiences await us in the near future.

Although, the company hasn’t revealed any in-depth details of the upcoming device, reports state that further specifications will be released prior to the device’s launch. Humane is looking to launch the device later this year.
