TATA IPL Mega Auction 2022: Highest bid of 12 Crore 25 Lakhs to Shreyas Iyer in the first bidding round

A total of 590 players, 370 from India and 220 will get on under the hammer. Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Capitals, and Royal Challengers Bangalore maintained a few performers.

Starting with Shikhar Dhawan to Shreyas Iyer, the bid got increased at a rapid pace. Shreyas Iyer becomes the most expensive player with a bid of 12 Crore 25 Lakhs till now. Shreyas Iyer has been sold to Kolkata Knight Riders with the outcome of the battle between Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight Riders.
