Check Out The New Jerseys For All 10 Teams In The IPL 2022

Eight teams have announced officially their jerseys for the forthcoming season ahead of the IPL 2022, while the remaining two have been revealed on social media. The new jerseys for the upcoming season have been released by MI, RCB, DC, RR, SRH, PBKS, KKR, CSK, LSG, and GT. Take a peek at the team uniforms:

Mumbai Indians (MI)

Mumbai Indians are a team based in Mumbai, India (MI) The Mumbai Indians, the five-time winners, introduced their new jersey on March 12 and, as predicted, it kept its blue and gold patches, but with the addition of a patchwork to the blue. The team captained by Rohit Sharma will begin their season on March 27 against the Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals (DC)

The runners for the 2020 season On March 12, the Delhi Capitals unveiled their new uniform, which has gone from a mostly blue design to a mix of red and blue. The new shirt, according to the team, emits a youthful and bright vitality. The team’s on-field bravery is symbolised by red, while balance and calmness are represented by blue.

Bangalore Royal Challengers (RCB)
On March 12, the Royal Challengers Bangalore introduced their new outfit and captain during an RCB Unbox event in Bengaluru. While announcing Faf du Plessis as their new captain, the RCB also unveiled their new shirt, which keeps the red and black colour scheme for the current season.

 

 

Gujarat Titans (GT)

Gujarat Titans, who had previously revealed their logo via Metaverse, unveiled their jersey on March 13 during a ceremony at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. The colour of the jersey is blue. On March 28, the GT will make their IPL debut against fellow newcomers Lucknow Super Giants.

 

Rajasthan Royals (RR)
On March 15, the inaugural winners debuted their new outfit in a unique fashion, keeping the pink and blue with a hint of Red Bull. On March 29, the Royals face Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2022 season opener.

Punjab Kings (PBKS)
On March 17, the Punjab Kings announced their shirt for the 2022 season, using the same design as previous year. So the red and gold will be back for new skipper Mayank Agarwal and PBKS, who will play Royal Challengers Bangalore on March 27 in the IPL 2022 season opener.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) 
The Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise is yet to make a significant announcement. They did, however, display their uniform on March 17. Although the orange and black combo is still present, there is a greater emphasis on orange this season. The new jersey may be seen on the captain. SRH will begin their IPL campaign in 2022.

 

 

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
On March 18, the Kolkata Knight Riders debuted their new jersey live on social media, starring skipper Shreyas Iyer. The two-time winners have kept their purple and gold colour scheme, but with a new style. On March 26, KKR will face Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2022 season opener.

 

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) 
Despite the fact that the newcomers Lucknow Super Giants have yet to reveal their uniform, IPL official broadcaster Star Sports may have leaked the franchise’s IPL 2022 jersey. LSG, who will make their IPL debut against Gujarat Titans, appear to have gone for a lighter shade of mint green rather than the light blue rumoured previously.

Chennai Super Kings (CSK)
The four-time winners, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), may be the last to reveal their IPL 2022 shirt, but images of it have been circulating on social media for the past few days. CSK will keep their renowned yellow and the camouflage patch on the shoulders as they begin their championship defence against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 26.
