Vijay Mallya meets International batsman Chris Gayle

The former owner of Royal Challengers Bangalore Vijay Mallya shares a picture with Christopher Gayle after meeting the international batsman.

In 2007, Chris Gayle joined RCB when Vijay Mallya co-owned IPL franchise as he scored bulk of scores during his task with them.

Currently, he’s in the UK on the bail for now.

Whereas, Chris is linked up with RCB since 2011 and played with the team till 2017 before Punjab Kings (then Kings XI Punjab) grounded him for 2 crore at the IPL 2018 auction.

Apart this, Chris Gayle have played 142 IPL matches, scored 4965 runs at 39.72 economy and 148.96 strike rate.

Additionally, he has bagged 16 centuries and 31 half centuries as well.

Later, Gayle withdrew out from IPL mega auction. But he confirmed his come back for next season.

Christopher Gayle says, ‘For the last couple of years, the way the IPL went about, I felt like I wasn’t treated properly.’
