Kamala Harris and Romania’s president will meet to discuss the developing concerns about the convergence of displaced individuals fleeing Ukraine for Romania due to Russia’s invasion. Romania is a nation of about 19 million. It has given place to more than 84000 displaced people as of Tuesday, according to the United Nations data.
Overall, more than 2.3 million people have fled Ukraine since the start of the war and it continues to grow daily. The US has warned people that up to 5 million people can flee Ukraine. Harris has advised refugees who have fled Ukraine prefer to stay in Europe for a while.
