French club Paris Saint – Germain are set to change their coach by replacing Mauricio Pochettino, French media reported on Friday. The club is now reaching to France legend Zinedine Zidane with an agreement. According to Europe 1 an agreement in principle is in place between the club and 49 year old Zidane, who has also been the coach for Real Madrid earlier.
Pochettino has a one year contract left with his PSG contract and has also led the club to the Ligue 1 title last term but they were knocked out of the Champions League knock out stages. Zidane has proven to be a lucky mascot for the Real’s for three seasons in a row.
Earlier on, PSG announced the arrival of Luis Campos as their football advisor to replace the departed Leonardo.
French President Emmanuel Macron has backed Zinedine Zidane to manage PSG amid rising rumours of the link up between the former Real Madrid boss to the French club, Zidane’s services to PSG will hopefully bag the elusive silverware.
