Stamford Bridge certainly not on the cards for Jules Kounde

Probably one of the most unexpected story of the summer transfer window, Spanish club FC Barcelona are now suddenly preparing for an official bid to Sevilla to try and hijack their deal with Chelsea for the Frenchman Jules Kounde, reported by Fabrizio Romano, the transfer guru.

However, until yesterday, Barcelona had gave up on Kounde, although, now the Xavi led team is quietly getting back for the transfer but have not thrown in the proverbial towel just yet.

From Barca’s side, despite initial scepticism of being able to match the Blues strong financial package that has been presented to Sevilla.

Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel is desperate of having the France international on his side, as another player in the defensive department will be an asset to the West London club.

Barcelona are extremely close to deal with Sevilla for Kounde. But, Barca cannot match Chelsea’s 65 million euros offer reported on the bid for Jules Kounde. Although, Chelsea have offered to pay the fee in installments.

According to several reports, Kounde’s first option has always been Camp Nou, but Barca never made the reciprocation from their side. Things are going to be very crucial as for the next few hours are concerned, anything could happen.
