Mikel Arteta & Jonas Eidevall together signed an Arsenal deal with the North London club

On 6th May 2022, Men’s boss Mikel Arteta and women’s manager Jonas Eidevall penned down their words and signed the contract at the same time at Emirates Stadium in presence of chief executive Vinai Venkatesham, tech. director Edu Gaspar and head of women’s Football Clare Wheatley.

Mikel Arteta is a part of the club since 2019 and he led the club in the year 2020.

For Mikel Arteta, the deal is extended till the end of the year 2024/2025 campaign while Eidevall’s deal ends in 2023/2024.

‘I am excited, grateful and really, really happy today’ said Arteta

The main motto of the club is to take the club to the next level, make up teams, improve the players, improve all fields, try to improve connection with their fans and improve the level of Emirates.

Jonas Eidevall had signed another deal after a successful first season in London. In the first season, he took the Women’s super league title challenge to the final weekend.

He had a great career in England, he had given his best to date and the ‘final weekend’ had already contributed a lot to his title.

‘It’s great’ said Jonas after signing the contract.
