Katerina Svitkova joins FC Chelsea Women

Chelsea women FC has recently confirmed the signing of Katerina Svitkova on a three year contract ahead of the 2022/23 season. The club are delighted to have on board the Czech international and are willing to make the most out of their collaboration together.

The 26 year old was earlier on associated with West Ham United and will march towards pre season training with the team later on this summer ahead of the tour to the United States.

Svitkova is said to be a formidable attacking-midfielder, and already has an experience of couple of years with the Women’s Super League with London club West Ham United since 2020 where she made 34 appearances and scored five goals.

“I am living my dream! I have wanted to play for this club my whole life having supported the team since childhood and I really appreciate this exciting opportunity” said Katerina Svitkova on joining Chelsea.

The player also made her international debut at the age of just 17 in 2014 at the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Svitkova has played 31 games for Czech Republic and has put 17 goals in the nets for her nation.

With her ties with Chelsea now, the partnership and combination will be essential for both the club and Svitkova as an association.
