On Sunday, Congress President Sonia Gandhi visited the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in New Delhi for a routine medical checkup, according to sources.
Doctors are examining her, and her current status is stable, according to them.
“She came to the Ganga Ram hospital today for a routine check-up,” a hospital source said.
There was no word on whether she would be accepted to the facility as of yet.
Officials stated on Friday that the Enforcement Directorate has issued a new summons to the Congress president, ordering him to appear in court on June 23 in connection with a money laundering case involving the National Herald newspaper.
Gandhi, 75, had been scheduled to testify on June 8, but she requested a new date from the federal investigation agency after contracting COVID-19.
