Redmi recently announced that its latest Redmi K80 series which was unveiled last month in the Chinese market refreshed the first sale record of the Redmi K series. As of the first day only, 660,000 units of the Redmi K80 series were sold.
This all-new series has now broken the fastest record of the K series to break one million as the sales of the Redmi K80 series have exceeded 1 million units in 10 days.
Redmi K80 series includes three models- Redmi K80, Redmi K80 Pro, and Redmi K80 Pro Champions Edition.

Redmi K80
The device sports a 6.67 inch OLED TCL M9 LTPS display that offers 2K screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, 1800 nits HBM, and comes with Gorilla glass 7i protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 15 OS. The device packs up a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide camera on the rear side while on the front it features a 20MP selfie camera.
It is backed by a 6550 mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The smartphone comes with 8.12mm thickness and weighs 206g. Redmi K80 Pro
This smartphone features similar display features as that of Redmi K80 but the Pro model arrives with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal glass 2.0 for protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC that is paired with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 15 OS. It packs up a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, 50MP telephoto camera, and 32MP ultra-wide camera. On the front, it includes a 20MP selfie camera.
The device packs up 6000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. It comes with 8.39 mm thickness and weighs 212g. Other features include- WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, IP69 rating, X-axis linear motor for haptics, Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, D1 chip, and dual loop 3D Ice cooling system.
Redmi K80 Pro Champion Edition
This special edition smartphone comes with almost similar specifications as that of the Redmi K80 Pro model. Except few changes, it comes with a track warrior-inspired design similar to the Lamborghini Huracan T3 EVO2. The device comes with a customized charger, data cable, SIM ejector PIN, and protective case. This special edition device comes with an IP68 rating.
