The Reuters report finally has come true. Actually, a report by Reuters media was published back in 2018 that said that Amazon would step into the insurance sector. Finally, it has stepped up in this field that may seem a different field for it.
Amazon is soon launching a home insurance portal in Britain and has signed up three big-name insurers as it pushes further into financial services. Initially, Ageas UK, Co-op, and LV= General Insurance would serve as a third-party system and it would be soon added by new members.
It has created fear among existing insurance comparison website holders. This service will be only available in Britain for now. The service will have customer reviews and comparisons between different insurance companies.
It would be interesting to see how Amazon revolutionizes the field of insurance after online shopping.
