Toyota Again Teases the Upcoming Tacoma Trailhunter: The Off-Roader is to Get a Trailhunter Trim

Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter to Get a Trailhunter Trim
Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter based on the 2024 Toyota Tacoma is to get an overlanding-oriented Trailhunter trim along with the hybrid i-Force Max powertrain. The off-roader has been teased by the company for the second time and the teaser showcases the Toyota Tacomo Trailhunter in a fantastic bronze color along with a Trailhunter logo inside its headlamp.

Toyota showcased a Tundra Trailhunter Concept Truck at the SEMA(Specialty Equipment Market Association) event held last year and it was the first time the name Trailhunter was used for a Toyota model.
The Tundra Trailhunter Concept Truck showcased a Trailhunter-specific suspensions setup, skid plates, and other featured accessories like a roof rack, roof tent, bed rack, and fridge. Toyota with its Tundra Trailhunter Concept truck had also mentioned that the company’s plan was to offer all the necessary off-road accessories from the company itself without having its buyers depend on other dealers.
Now coming back to the teaser, the teaser also reveals that ARB, Australia’s biggest off-road accessories manufacturer is one of the partners Toyota has on board for the making of the Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter. From its teaser, it has been understood that the Tacoma Trailhunter will be having an ARB rear bumper along with a tow hook at its rear.
Since ARB has a long catalog of off-road parts including roof racks, fridges, air-lockers, and bumpers, we can expect more of their accessories featured in the Tacoma Trailhunter.
What is most interesting about the upcoming Toyota Tacoma Trailhunter is its load-bearing capability apart from its off-roading capabilities and on-trail protection. The details about it haven’t been revealed yet, however, it is great news since one of the limiting factors of the Toyota Tacoma was its low load-bearing capability.
