Royal Enfield will officially release the “Hunter 350” on Sunday. The Hunter 350 is derived from Royal Enfield’s J-series 350 cc platform. The CEO, Siddhartha Lal said that the model was being developed since 2016.
According to Lal, the development team has been fine-tuning the model through continuous rounds of enhancement, to offer a completely different character to the bike.
The Royal Enfield’s “Hunter 350” possesses a modified ‘twin downtube spine frame’ for improved agility, cornering and stability. Additionally the suspension design for the Hunter 350 is unique to the model. However, the model does possess some design elements of the classic Royal Enfield like the rounded light clusters and twin rear shocks.
The bike has a 41mm front fork offering 130 mm of travel while the rear has ‘twin tube emulsion shock absorbers’ with 6-step pre-load adjustment and 102mm of wheel travel. The bike possess 17-inch wheels.
The Hunter 350 has incorporated the familiar 349 cc J-series mill for the engine from the new generation of 350 models. The engine facilitates the same 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque as it does in the other 350 models. The engine will be mated to a 5-speed gearbox with just a toe shifter. It is also expected that the Hunter 350 will be lighter than the Classic 350.
